This site remains in a state of flux!  Above all else, this page is a gateway to five worlds, Amateur Radio, General Information, my wife's profession, my profession, and the world of anti-Spam.  In keeping with my dislike of SPAM, here is a quote for you from the Federal Trade Commission website:

This site includes pages devoted to Amateur Radio, the Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club, Gulf Coast Area Repeater Club, and helping kc4goa to help the hobby grow though the VE Testing program.  I am a member of both clubs and active in A.L.E.R.T., the All Lee County Emergency Response Team, which uses R.A.C.E.S. and A.R.E.S. members to assist with Fort Myers Civil Defense.  This is the reason that Amateur Radio (HAMS) exists, to assist the public in times of emergency.  Helping at parades and other events is another calling for those of us who love the hobby.  Finally, talking around the world with other licensed amateurs serves two purposes: extending good will and practice for our real calling, emergency service.  Please help us by opposing antenna restrictions.
